Terms of use
Resus Room · last updated 14 October 2026
By using Resus Room you accept these terms. They are short and they are meant to be read. The App Store's standard licence agreement also applies.
This is a simulation, not medical advice
Resus Room is for education and training only. Every patient in it is fictional. Nothing it says is medical advice, and it is not a substitute for clinical judgment, supervision, institutional protocol, or current published guidance. Never use it to make a decision about a real patient. Its cases are written in advance and checked, but they may contain errors. Verify every teaching point against a current authoritative source before you rely on it. It is not a certification and is not affiliated with any course provider.
Who may use it
It is intended for clinicians and clinical students. You must be at least 16. If you use it as part of a course or a programme, your institution's own rules apply as well as these.
Never enter real patient information
Do not type or say anything that identifies a real person — no names, no medical record numbers, no dates of birth.
Content
Resus Room — its code, its case library, its written clinical content and its artwork — is the work of Kim Trinh, MD, and is © 2026 Kim Trinh, MD. All rights reserved. You may use it for your own learning and teaching, including with a class. You may not copy, republish or redistribute it or any substantial part of it, make derivative versions, use it to build a competing product, or use it as training data for a machine-learning model, without written permission. Study images come from openly licensed sources and carry their own credit and licence in the app; a few are labelled as illustrations.
Purchases
Resus Room is free to download, and some cases are free. The Core Pack is a one-time purchase that unlocks the six cases listed in the app; future case packs are separate purchases. Purchases are sold and refunded by Apple under the App Store's terms. A purchase is yours to keep and works on every device signed in to the same Apple Account.
Availability, and changes
The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and may change at any time. To the fullest extent the law allows, the author is not liable for any loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the simulator, including any clinical decision influenced by it. If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
